With 3 teenage/early twenty-aged daughters, Acai bowls have become a “thing” in our house. They’re healthy, good to eat and provide a little bit of sweetness. We like them so much that it seems like every trip we take, or place we go, we seek out Acai bowls! We noticed however, that there we no Acai bowls in Bethesda! Because I own a sweets shop, and because everyone in my family wanted me to fill the need for Acai bowls in Bethesda – we decided to offer the healthy alternative to a mid-day snack (or anytime for that matter).
